Another amazing set by LEGO DUPLO. I purchased this for my almost three year old son who is obsessed with cars, trucks, and well - any vehicle! This set comes with 36 pieces and includes enough pieces to make not one, not two, but THREE vehicles! These just aren't ordinary vehicles either - you can build a crane, firetruck, regular car, and a dump truck! You can mix and match the pieces to create all sorts of fun vehicles. The pieces are bright and colorful which is pretty normal for DUPLO. Some of the bricks are brightly decorated to depict windows (people/pets in them!), water refiling station, and a traffic light. The little puppy in the window is super cute - my toddler loved that little detail. The vehicles, once completed, are the perfect size for little hands. It comes with building idea cards which is fun to give them ideas on what to build or perhaps a simple lesson in how to follow instructions. Super cute and fun set. Very happy with this DUPLO set. We will be back for more, I'm sure!I bought this for two grandchildren, a boy 20 months and a girl 18 months. They both love it. The boy has spent half an hour at a time with the dump truck, which really dumps. It has been filled with pebbles and sand many times but hasn't scratched. The tow truck is also an especially big hit. It does really tow. Also, which I like, there are picture cards in the box of what you can make, so you can save them when you toss the box. I have an old duplo set that made a fire engine, but I can't remember how to do it without a picture. Even my oldest grandchildren, 8 and 10, build with this set. The sets where you construct a building don't seem as popular as this one. Highly recommended.I love this Duplo set and my 2.5 year old does too! He loves to build the trucks and cars into all kinds of ways. It is so versatile and imagination go a long way. This set has kept him occupied for hours - well worth it. My one complaint is the gas/water hose does not work well. It did okay for maybe a day and them pops up whenever you try to put it in place. The connection isn't strong or tight enough. My 2 year old brings it to me since he can't get it and I can't even get it to stay properly. Wished that piece were better or replaced with something different but overall it is a great set!THE BEST! It includes three cars and a crane, has cards with actual-size vehicles, so my 3 yo can follow the picture to create the exact match. Note to parents - there are a few details that 3 yo would not be able to put in place - hook on the crane or the dump part of the dump truck, so some little ones might get frustrated. Our son knows when to ask for help, so we were able to build those two together. The rest he did himself. He also loves "reconfigure" them and then return back to match the cards.My son got this for his 5th birthday. I know it's getting to be a bit too babyish, but we have a 2 yo also who still puts things in his mouth and it beats tiny Legos everywhere. He is constantly building vehicles so I got him this set to give him more to work with. He LOOOOOOOVED it. We now have a "snow mobile", some sort of space satellite thing.... He's not building off of the pictures, which I love. He's had them since yesterday and has been building nearly nonstop.To say my 2.5 year old loves these legos is the understatement of the year. He is crazy about them, and they have consistently held his attention more then any other toy ever. He can play with them for HOURS. These are like gold in a box. I can do dishes, laundry and other necessary tasks and he is happy playing and doesn’t cry bc I’m not giving him 100% of my attention. Best purchase ever!!!!This set is different than the typical Lego Duplo set. It comes with cards that show directions for building different trucks and vehicles, with the option to mix and match on your own as well. My four year old loved it, but it was a little tricky for my three year old. The set itself is fun, and great for boys - build a fire truck, tow truck, construction vehicles, or a simple family car. I would recommend for the older end of the age range noted on the box, probably four to five.My kid loves it and plays with this all the time. He likes to build and destroy it :)It looks very safe for small children and safe to leave it in the room. This works for us better than the magnetic blocks we have already, definitely will buy more Duplo sets in the future, they are very interesting and educational for our kids.Nephew Loved it! He's 3, he already has other Duplo bricks and things.. Loved the versions of the Fire Engine and the Dumper Truck!Great product, my son loves it and it’s very easy to assemble.
